I am looking for the chrome pieces that go on each side of the grill on a B10. Anyone have a spare set?

I checked in a parts manual and the chrome side pieces on the B-10 and the B-110 had different numbers. I also looked at pictures to be sure and they don't look like they have the same shape. Hope this helps.

Yes I found that out also. I may have to see if I can borrow a pair from someone to get them made and then have them chrome plated. There is a guy not to far from me that might let me use them. I tried to measure them but the angles would be easier to copy if I had a pair in my hands.

Dan; if you are going to get a pair bent up I would recommend stainless. No chrome cost involved and you should be able to find pieces large enough for your purpose at a metal shop. Ask around and see if you can find a plant that does stamping of stainless parts and see if some of their scrap pieces would work for you. Good luck with your project. Dave.

Dan,

I have these, and I believe this is the type you're looking for, as these are off a 1967 Allis B-10. As you can see, they aren't the best, even though the right mount cleaned up pretty well. I haven't tried to clean up the left mount yet, but will see what I can do on Saturday when I have a little more time to put into it. Even if it doesn't clean up as nice as the right one did, you would still have an original set of hood supports, that would just need re-chromed. Let me know what you think. If you aren't interested in them, that's OK, and there will not be any hard feelings.
Troy
