I bought my D4-10 yesterday morning without a battery. i am currently using my small one from my stx38, i drove it yesterday and today and then i shut off for a few mins to clean up and went to start and the starter clicks but wont turn over. any ideas?

Do you have a volt meter? I would guess (using my crystal ball :D) that one of the following has happened.

The charging system isn't working and the battery is too weak to start the unit.

The solenoid or the starter stops working when warmed up (could be as simple as a ground here)

The vibration from driving it has jarred loose a connection or allowed a corroded connection to show itself.

I agree with MH81. Best way to determine which one it is is to allow things to cool down then try to start again. If it's a no go, then charge the battery up and try it again. If it starts after the charge, then you've likely got a charging system problem. Hope this helps!

The man i bought it from rewired it, and none of it looks right for me. Anyone know where i can find a diagram of the wires?
