I had a district DFA dairy meeting Thursday night. One of the field staff started talking about a few producers who were to get a certificate for a whole year of meeting all criteria for high quality milk. I knew I'd been doing my best, but never kept my average over the last several months figured up. I was shocked when my farm's name was the 1st, and I was given my certificate! :dancingbanana:

I was also re-elected as delegate to the annual meeting in Kansas City. I have served as a delegate now for 16 years. This term is only for one year due to re-districting, and will return to 3 year terms next Fall. Next year I may take a shot at becoming district Director.

Way to go Daniel, a little recognition for all your hard work. Is it going in a frame?

Congrats from me too. From a guy with a wife who both LOVE milk, from a house where a gallon has a slim chance to survive more than a few days, we say:good_job: to you and the rest of your crew. Keep up the good work!

Way to go Daniel. I'm not surprised considering the high quality of all your work. Your posts give us city guys some idea of the many issues and the hard work that goes into running a successful dairy farm. Thanks for that and congratulations on the award!
