I found a wh grader on CL. The model is a 09-40-bm 01, attach-a-matic. Will this work on a wh 857? The mb405 is what my manual calls for. Thanks.

MB-405 Replaced by 7-1111, 7-1112, 7-1113, 7-1114, 67-40BM01, 77-40BM01, 87-40BM01, 97-40BM01, 07-40BM01

I don't know if the 7-1114 and later models would fit a short frame tractor like the 857.

Thanks for the info. Your info indicates the MB-405 was replaced by 7-1114. Is that what this 09-40-BM01 blade is. If so, it should fit if it's the replacement forMB-405.
Sorry, just clarifying. Thanks.

Bump to see if anyone knows for sure if this will/won't work. They don't come up for sale around here and I'm in a race with another buyer lol. Thanks.

I am not aware of any difference in the length of the main carriage.
The biggest change was the angle release mechanism, followed by the decals.

If it's the one I see for $100, buy it...... you can't lose!

No not a 100, it's 200, from my understanding still well worth it.

I suppose if you insist on having an OEM piece, $200 isn't out of the question.
I built one (to use) and have less than $25 in it, but - as they say - it's your money.

Yeah I did. I drove 3hr round trip to get it. It was a nice back road fall leaves trip, had a good time, saw a bunch of really old tractors in fields, met a new friend, and almost bought a 310-8 with a plow:D

If you are buying dual whls. to use with a blade? I have a set of duals for my cub cadet and they don't work well with center blade. The outer whls. run up on your discharge and makes the blade rise on one side.

Not to use the blade, rather, too look awesome... Great point though...
