I recently got a JD 210. It has some problems. One is that it will not start with the key, it only clicks at one of the two solenoids on the upper left. i was able to start it by using a remote start and by-passing the solenoid on the lower right.
The second major problem is that there seems to be major portions of the electric lift missing. Can this be converted to manual lift or am I better off trying to find the parts I need to repair the electric lift.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like it's your safetly switches. There are I think 3 in place. One on the transaxle shifter ( shifter must be in neutral) wiggle and move it around( mine is kinda touchy on my 212). There is also one on the seat. Must be sitting on seat and also the PTO must be off. Check those items 1st and let us know.

You said you got it to start after jumping the solenoid. Is the solenoid getting power in, if so, power out? Could be safety switches, or maybe the solenoid.
