Thanks for the update starflite! That's a top notch restoration! Was the Briggs engine factory on it, or is it a replacement? (I apologize if that's a dumb question LOL, I'm not very familiar with the Masseys.) All the ones I've seen have the Tecumseh engines on them.

The original engine was a tecumseh HH120, it was dead.

That looks very nice, starflite. I am wondering what the holes in the grille were for, also! If that seat works for you, use it. Thanks for the pics!

EDIT: found what was in the holes, post 44, first pic.

Starflite, that is what we strive for: to help folks in need. Glad you found all that you needed to get your tractor fixed up.

Hi,

I's long time without come here.

Last year I finish the MF 12, the decals were glues.

I am very happy to use this tractor.

A friend of mine bought a Wheel Horse 1-1631, I will create a new post.

Hi

Welcome back.

Your MF12 is looking good. I hope it's running

good for you.

Please introduce your  friend with the Wheel Horse to this site.

We're always up to a challenge, and know how to use Google Translator.

I love the trailer ball bracket, on the front of your MF12. Are they readily available over there.

Please let me know, if you know how I can get my hands on one of those.

Very nice job Starflite I have been enjoying your project from the beginning. I recently joined here on the GTT & have had a lot of inspiration from everyone here especially the MF folks since I recently got my MF12 down to a bare frame. Thanks for sharing your project.

For some reason I never saw this thread before, but thanks for all the details and pictures during the build of your MF12! I read the whole thing yesterday. Most of the build threads I have seen of MF12's are hydros but your tractor appears to be a 12G like my 1975 MF. This thread will be most helpful if I ever decide to do a full resto like you did, Starflite! Here is a pic of my unrestored MF12G.

Thanks again---DAC

Hi,

The trailer ball is just bolted on the front.

If I can help somebody to restore a tractor, don't hesitate to ask but I am a novice. all my knowledge comes from this forum.
