Hi DH1,

The pulley will be at 1/4" about the original position, I checked this morning.
The Briggs output shaft is a little bit high than Tecumseh, about 3/4".
I need to machine a sleeve to fix the Tecumseh pulley (1 1/8") on the Briggs output shaft (1")

Good stuff sounds like your going to get it to work good.

Both the owners manual and the service manual is found on the second page of this list. The predelivery and assembly instructions are one page one.

Thank you very DH1 and HH81, for advises and your kindness.
I will fix the engine on the tractor and try it. And during the winter I would like to paint it with the original color.
I will try to find the manuals as you told me.

Hi mjodrey and KennyP,

Actually I am working on the tractor. It is cleaned up and the new engine already fixed.
I was happy to not drill new holes, its were the same as Tecumseh.
New pics to come very soon.

Today I done the first trials.
I don't get to set the neutral, in Park position or pushed pedal the tractor still move forward or reverse.
The primary belt seem to be to tight on park position and the secondary belt continue to turn, is it usual?

Hi Stephane
Motor fit nicely in there.

There are shims as part of the pulley on the transmission. You will need to have all the shims inside the
outer sheave of that pulley, if you have a new belt. That will loosen those belts up, and stop the creeping.
You may have to experiment with the # of shims required, if you're belt is stretched a bit.

Here is a link to good info from DH1

Look at post #6 >mf12g varidrive

I think that link/topic should be a sticky note.

Part of the creeping problem is missing belt guards.
In the following picture, you will see the belt wanting to expand into a circle, keeping it in contact with the pullies.

On the tractor on the right in this picture, you will see the belt guards. Note how they would keep the belt from expanding into a circle and will allow the proper action to "Clutch" the drive.

Engine is looking good, thanks for sharing the pics. - Alan
