Kenny, I was away this weekend and so sorry to hear of Terry's passing. I at least she is in with her Maker and in peace.
Those are great memories of the big corn harvest.
You and your family are in our prayers.

Just wanted to let you wonderful folks know the funeral is tomorrow at 1:00 P.M. I'm doing good, got to spend some time with her today. That helped a lot. She will be buried in the cemetery that her childhood friend's family owns. That is so cool. At this time it is considered out in the country around here. She loved being out of the city. Though we never remarried, I plan to be buried right next to her.
Thank you to everyone for helping me through this trying time. You don't know how much you have helped. All of my family has passed, so I lean on my children and you guys for support. And you have come through with flying colors. Thank you all so much!

I think we are all sad for you and your loss, but glad that we are able to help you in some way through this tough time, even if just at the end of a keyboard and video screen. God bless and be with you and yours Kenny.

Kenny, I'm glad to hear that you are doing OK and that you have found some comfort in the support here. I had prayers said for Terry, you and your family at our church last Sunday. I hope we can continue to support you as you heal.

Kenny - sorry to hear about this. Remember the good time and bad time you two had together. And that you were blessed with children that bind you together. My wife of 36 years has COPD too and has had to for around two years now. You have been blessed having a wife and friend that helped you through this life. Peace and love to you and your family.

I am doing okay for now. Just had a little more to share. The grave site we picked is within 100-150' of a pasture full of horses. After the funeral, my daughter took her son (5 1/2) out to the grave site so he could better understand where 'Grandma' was resting. She said all the horses were lined up at the fence as close to Terry's site as they could get, kind of like they were offering comfort to her. I thought that was pretty cool. We didn't even know horses were that close, but makes it all much easier to accept. I know in days to come, I will miss her.
Again, I am thankful for the outpouring of support and sympathy you all have given. As I type these words, I am reflecting on memories of her and remembering all the great times we had together. Thank you, my friends!
