Howdy fellas. I just thought I would post about my '42 farmall. A few years ago, my uncle bought 3 tractors. 1 was an M, the other 2 where Hs. The M ran and the Hs both had locked up engines. lol Go figure. Long story short, he gave me the Hs since he isnt the most mechanically inclined of people and had no idea what to do with them. I have the best looking one at my house with the head off. Guess what I found in the number 2 cylinder haha, a MOUSE!!!! Not alive but dead and soaked in diesel fuel lol. Any way, I took that out and dumped some acetone and stabil in all 4 cylinders and havent checked it since. maybe tomorrow.DSCI0005.jpg

Nice looking H. My Grandfather on Moms side farmed with Farmall M's and H's. They are nice tractors, thanks for the pics and good luck with the locked engine.

Good luck on getting the H up and running again! It's great you have it turning over now. I would pull the pistons out and see if you have any stuck rings and then maybe use a ball hone to just clean up the cylinders if they don't look to bad.
