Just wanted to post a better picture of my new favorite pass time, chugging through the woods in my QT17. I think I need to somehow attach a winch to it, cause I don't know what I do if I got stuck. I also included a picture of the throttle cable that broke and is now just long enough to hold the lever at full throttle, no adjustment possible. Is there any downside to always running the tractor at full throttle? engine.jpg

Nice tractor. The only bad to running full all the time is there is alot of fuel in there when you shut it off.You can always see if there is room to move it to give more lenght.

Didn't the manuals always recommend the hydrostatic tractor be run at full throttle when in operation?
