We finally got a good rain early this morning. I measured 2.6 inches and it sounded wonderful falling. Because everything was so dry every drop is soaking in. That's probably the end of the rain for a while though but hopefully we'll get some more in a couple of weeks.

I saw that on CNN this morning. They really emphized how dry you folks have it. Hope you get more.

Glad that you got some! I hope too that you get some more in a timely fashion and not a torrential downpour all at once! i'm sure that you'll need a few more feet to get things back to where they should be, but here's to a good start!

I have been watching that rain moved slowly Eastward. Glad you got a good amount to start with. Here's to many more inches, just not all at once.:beerchug:
