Finally bought a MIG Welder

I love my Hobart ! The thing works flawlessly unless you use the flux core wire...then it has a habit of arcing out the tip and the next 8-feet of wire are useless as it likes to pile up in front of the feeder drive. Otherwise, a great little welder. I paid more than $500 for mine, however

I might have been told wrong but was told to set the drive tight but if you held on to the wire coming out of the gun it would slip in the rollers and not bunch up , fine line between too tight and just right , maybe one of the welders could correct me if I'm wrong , Al

I have "nested" aluminum with my MIG, but never even once have I nested fluxcore wire, and I've ran several rolls of it through both my wire welders.
