Anyone wouldn't happen to know who the paint company was that supplied paints to FMC?

It is thought that the manufactures changed almost every year......

Wow, Keep that baby original!

You shouldn't be using that one if that paint is original!

In all my Bolens years I have never seen a "Gold" cart! Only in Brochures!

Any Decals on it??

No evidence it ever had decals. I thought the gold ones were common although I have never seen another. My concern is rust. Even though I keep it indoors it has rusted over the years mainly at seems and welds.

Plan on using DuPont paint from my local body shop as he mixes all paint by the color code.  Plan to paint the tractor (Frankenstein or Frank for short) the original 1254 colors.

Thanks in advance.

Roger

Can anyone confirm the color of my snow caster..??????

It's a  18538,,,       on my bolens  1556        38" wide...

The inside has red  here and there,,, the outside is black.. the gear box was green,, NOW red,,after rebuild..

Any opinions on the black used by Bolens on the G14, H14, HT20, etc.? Is it gloss black or is it satin black?

I vote for semi-gloss black, which is between gloss and satin black. ...Then there is also flat and ultra-flat black.

Who said "black is black" ?? :wallbanging:

That looks pretty good. Did you have them scan it for a match or do it by eye?
