After milking was done, time to unload shelled corn into the bin. Using my Massey 1010 diesel. The corn is pretty dry straight from the field, so the 1010 handles the auger with ease. Running a full auger load & governor isn't even kicking in. Running max rpm with no problem at all. Max rpm is just a bit over the pto rpm speed, so I just throw it all the way open.

I found a 1010 ,but it has a $6500 price tag on it,so it's going to stay right where it is.

Daniel, that is way cool! Keep posting all the neat things you are using these GT's for. Gives me ideas!

Wonder if I could move dirt for point A to point B with an auger like that? HMMMM?

many of my tractors are just to collect, but I get the most fun out of the ones that really work to earn their keep.

Kenny, I would be aprehensive of moving dirt with an auger. However, back in the early 60's my uncle knocked a hole in his foundation, dropped a flatbed elevator(the kind used for ear corn, before combines came into common use into the crawl space. Gave my three cousins shovels and told them to dig a basement. Busy boys don't get into trouble, was his theory. And it worked well.
