I need to replace the drive belt. Any suggestions on how to remove the PTO from the engine shaft? Followed the procedure in the service manual but that baby is on tight. Was thinking of "gently" trying a gear puller with the arms pulling on the sheeve closest to the engine.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

They usually just fall off for me once that bolt comes out, I know you want to be gentle, I don't think those ones are adjustable.

If you can get some WD-40 or PB Blaster on the shaft, try that first. The PTO must have grown to the shaft. The ones I've removed have either fallen off easily, or needed some coaxing.
