Has anyone here bored out a Kohler K-532 to accept K-582 pistons?

It seems like I've heard you can, and now I have some nice used .010" over pistons from a K-582. With a never ending desire for MORE POWER, I'd just love to put them in with the next rebuild.

Thanks.

I have heard of it being done but not the results.I would not do it the bore if i remember correct on the 532 is 3 3/8 and the 582 is 3 1/2 so it will need to be bored over .060.

The K-532 has a 3.375" bore, the K-582 has a 3.5" bore. A .125" difference. .135" with my found .010" over pistons.

That's an increase in displacement from 53.677 cubic inches, to 58.057 cubic inches, a 4.38 cubic inch increase, or a tad over 8.1%.
