In order to adjust the variator, I have to push really hard on the button, which is tough to do when the thing is moving. It almost takes two hands. My right thumb isn't strong enough.

Any ideas? :anyone:

On my last 10 that I had to work on, I had to unscrew the thumb button and remove the rod & spring then clean up the tube. I also remember that on Ryan's, he does have to pull back slightly before pushing the button or it's a little stiff for a 13 yr old to run.

try spraying it with WD40 or something to see if it loosen up any.
