To me it looks like an artists drawing, but that does not matter because I have no idea what make it is other than it is not the mystery machine(that was a van in Scooby-doo)!
So....... what is it?

Here's the problem... No one is sure. Hoping someone would recognize the tranny housing.

We assume the color is not the original and the manufacturer who "borrowed" it didn't want anyone to know what it is. Thus the obvious touchups to the picture.

It can't be any of the manufacturers (or models) that used a solid hitch plate, as it would hide the tranny.

Fenders may have been modified also, but My friend was hopeful someone would say "Hey, those are off a ..."

Thanks everyone for trying to help.

Would that be a GENERAL ELECTRIC tractor with a snow blower on it?

I found it here, page 4>http://www.myelec-tr...om/gea-8847.pdf

You found the pic... :bigrofl:

OK, here's the story as I know it. This pic is a picture of a possible prototype unit that they made to do some tests with. It was NOT the production model, and there is some scuttlebutt that they bought a competitors tractor, converted it to electric, and put a blower on it to see how it would preform.

So, back to the original question, who's tractor was it originally?

The picture is in GE very first sales flyer which also has 3 pictures of the 4 blade prototype mower deck in it.
If you look at the tractors closely you can see differences in them and there attachments. Prototype and production tractors.
The picture in question looks like a drawing or painting to me.

At first, I thought the same... Artist's rendition. Then I got to looking at it, and thought it looked more like it had been "touched up" to more or less hide the features... IDK

I don't think were ever going to know for sure, could be they wanted a sales pamphlet made and didn't have a winter picture for it.

Maybe it's a Westinghouse???
