Mike :welcome: to GTTalk.

I am not the right guy, just stopped in to say HI. If you have a picture of it, it would be very helpful to members who may be able to answer your question.

Haven't seen a trip blade mounted on the rear. Got some pics?

An 09jc9797 is a front trip blade.

If it Is the same as the parts breakdown, I had one, scraped it. I use a modified Bolens unit now instead. Even my old Craftsman plow worked better than that Ford unit.

I looked thru the parts manual and cannot find anything that shows a conversion to a rear blade on this part number. Have you got some pics of this set-up Mike? That might clear up a lot.

There are few parts books missing! Including the steel grill used between 72-75 on Ford LGT's! Our 09JC3280 has a steel grill!
For starters it hooks up to rear axle housing, the independent rear lift is complicated to explain! There is a cross tube bolted on to rear of frame with an arm on it the arm which lifts & lowers blade (09JC9797). The cross tube has lift lever on it with a transport lock foot pedal on left side! Lift lever is on right side beside fender! hope this clears this up abit! NONE OF THIS IS HOMEMADE!

Boy, I'd like to see pics of this. I'll check out your 09ARU50B to see what I find. This is getting interesting.

I could not get the 09ARU50B # to come up at New Holland. Get a Camera out and take some pics of this, please.
