Yup, and it is raining again today..... I think my wood pile is wetter now than when the stuff was cut/split last April..... New England has plenty of moisture to share with others in more need......:confuse:

A saying my grandfather used to say comes to mind, " tougher where there's none" . That had too much truth to it, to bad nature didn't agree.

They are really hurting in central Texas after a very hot and dry summer. They desperately need rain! We have probably had less than average rainfall here in the last month or 2 but it was very wet in the spring and early summer.

Your right about that! They have a Weekly Hay auction in NE Iowa (Dyersville, I think) and they said on the radio this morning hay was bringing over $200 a ton and most of it was going to Texas.

Good evening GT Talk,
basement is filling with water again, roads are closing again, flooding is everywere again, the ground can not hold any more water, the connecticut river valley is flooded again, what crops that were left is all flooded out now, farmers will have to remove the river silt from the fields again, my shop is drowing, tractors are outside on higher ground covered up in tarps, the pump at the farm has been overwelmed and can not keep up,
i am now 3 weeks behind on my job due to all the rain, we are drowing out here, please take some of this water away from here,

Sorry to hear that trowel. It seems that weather patterns are getting more extreme. At least the latest hurricane is staying out to sea.

I sure hope the rain soon stops. We were also caught in the same weather pattern that is affecting your area. It is supposed to clear tomorrow but a chance of showers over the weekend. Next week looks to be much drier. I just hope that the weatherman is right.
