Today i visited a local junkyard and man my mouth was watering. A few of them might be worth the money, but was wondering about some others. Found a cpl of 210's with bad motors and a 316 with a few minor problems on motor, and a 70. Also there was a 112.

Would they be worth a cpl 100 if motors are bad trannies and everything else was very good shape?

Well, the 316 certainly would be worth some money if there are no major problems. If you can get the lot of them for a couple of hundred and you have the space, time and interest to work on them then I say go for it.

I would snatch em up if they are not too expensive. Is it just normal scrap prices for them they want? I would definitely go after the 316 if it is all there or mostly there and the price isn't bad.

I'm agreeing with the consensus here. Money, space, time, and a wife who won't freak out when you bring them all home. If you meet at least the first three of the four, go for it.:bigrofl:

Which 316? If it is a later open frame/Onan powered machine that is a great candidate for the repower. I love the Kohler 316s too.
