What a beautiful day out there today.I went out this morning to try and do some stuff in the shop.I was only going to do a bit as we had a Birthday party to go to for one of our Gandsons.Wouldn't you know it I had set up some stuff and was getting ready to start doing stuff .When I stood up the pain in my lower back just set me right back onto the ground.Yeah I know I have a bad back and it does catch me off guard but man this time I think it was the worst. My little guy was out in the other part of the garage and I yelled to him to come help me.He came after a bit as he was filling his Dirt Bike with gas. When he walked in and saw me half sitting half laying on the floor he got pretty nervous.I then asked him to put everything away and once he was done asked him if he could go to the house and get my crutches. He ran to the house and on his way out my wife saw him and asked what was wrong. He told her and the next thing they both were out in the shop.My wife wanted to call the ambulance because I couldn't get up off the floor and I didn't want them to help me up either.Inever usually go down like this but this time it was the first.I did eventally get up slowly and with the help of crutches I was able to make it to the house. As soon as I was inside it was muscle relaxants and 2 tylenol 3's.I'am moving around not to bad now but if its still this bad come tommoro guess I'll have to make a trip to the Doc. Guess I'll be down for a few days.Sure hate not being able to do stuff especially with the weather being so nice right now,and also knowing cooler weather is on the way.I didn't get to go to the Birthday party. My wife and little guy did go so sat in the house and watched TV and looked at the computer.Sure I feel a bit light headed but at least I can move around the house etc:Larry

Boy, I hope and pray that you get some relief. Take it easy for a while, Have that youngster do your outside stuff while you mend. And the only prescription that I can give is, Take a large dose of GTTalk and post us often! Shawn

Back pain really sucks. Hope it gets better for you soon. I've been there before too.
I'm no doc, but what works for me, is laying on your back, and stretch the back, by pulling your knees towards your
chin. Alternate, 1 leg, then the other. 10 times each.

Hope you get well soon! Back problems really suck. Don't do like me and wait to long to go to the doc thinking it will get better by itself. Stuburness never wins here. Take care.
