Hi Guys,
I just joined and also just aquired an early 60's springfield. It's pretty complete other than the motor has been updated. Here is a picture of it. It looks very close to this brochure. I also have the deck. I was trying to figure out what motor it might of had and the year the tractor was. I can't find a model serial label yet.

Question, I found some brochures here to download to possibly ID it but I guessed wrong on the first two files and it won't let me download any more today unless I post on the forum to becom a full member like this posting?. Am I missunderstanding something, it still won't let me?
Thanks again,
John

:welcome:
Nice looking little mower. When I first joined I also had problems downloading manuals. Not sure why but it happens. A moderator will be along soon and can probably give you a hand.

Ask the moderators for help in a new thread, That would get there atten. Look around, post a comment about some of the pictures that you like on a thread. It does not take long to become a regular member. We do have a Springfield collector or two here on site. wvbuzzmaster is his username, check in the chat room in the evening. He might be the one to talk to.................But I better warn you he is A little long winded. LOL Shawn
