Since I have never seen one, I would say the D-250 with watercooled Renault engine would be one.

As would I, I think it would fit my 8.9 acres as well as my neighbors Cub lowboy does his property.

My father-in-law used to have a Case 1830 skidloader with the same engine and it was very reliable.
Due to health problems(crushed by a WD45 AC) He did not run it much, he found it difficult to get in and out of. So I ran it much more than he.
And loved that machine.

The D-250 is on my list of must haves for someday. As it turns out, my inspection mechanic has one with a factory FEL and an adapted Kubota backhoe on it...and yes, it has the renault engine in it! BTW, I called dibs on it if he ever decides to sell!! I would have to say that there are rarer Wheel Horses out there though. I can't name models per se', but the early Pond models are few and far between as are the earliest of the RJ's with the cable steering.

IMO, The most rare Wheel Horse is the Pond 4 wheel Lever Steer Tractor made in 1946 and 47. In 1948 it was modernized with a automotive style steering box and steering wheel. In 1955 WH gave it the model# RS83. WH. offered a fiberglass hood the the tractor the last couple years that it was produced.

A 1966 1046 is very scarce.
The (1964.5) 1045, (1964) 754, (1986) 420LSE, and (1990) 520-8 are also low-production models.
Not to split hairs, but a lever steer is technically pre-Wheel Horse and a D-250 is a German-built Gutbrod tractor with Wheel Horse paint & decals.

Edit: forgot the 1955/56 RJ-25

There has been 6 listed on ebay in the last 2 months. From scrap to mint.
