We just got home from the show. It started to rain a little but the big tractors were still pulling. There is also a band tonight under a large tent that was really full of spectators.
Now to answer your question Kenny, when I tracked down the club president he said everything covers about 50 acres. The show uses about 20 plus acres, the auction uses slightly less, and about 10 acres to the rear of the grounds are used to park trailers that the display folks don't need at their site.

Boy, the auction area alone is looking good! 50 acres of GT's and GT folks has got to be a major good time!

We had a number of members stop by today and sign the banner. It was great to see all of them. We had a member from Texas, one from Virginia, one from North Carolina, one from Indiana, and one from Ontario Canada. The rest of our members were home grown here in PA.
The auction starts tomorrow at 8:30. The Garden Tractor pulls for the serious folks starts with registration at 8 and the pulling at 9. Last year saw large number of GT's showing up early on Saturday, many only for the day, but it sure helped make a full show grounds. We hope to have many of these folks back this year.

Franky P is on the trailer. I repeat, Franky P is on the trailer.

You may say... A real hard-core tractor guy would drive it on to the fairgrounds.
I could do that... but I'd be there on Tuesday.

Looking forward to meeting some of you. Looks like the guys at GTTalk did a great prep job as with anything they do.

If someone wants to save me a spot with panzers or other GTT members, please do. Otherwise, I'll take whatever scraps I can get. I have to be careful getting it off the trailer because the snow blade drags. I'm just going to take it off before it comes home.

Dean please find us on the show grounds. We are located at the far eastern edge of the show grounds. We will definitely make room for you and Franky P. We helped several folks unload today and will make sure every effort to get Franky P unloaded will be with no problems.

I took a few shots. Wish I could have hung around to enjoy it all!
If you are close it is worth the trip.
Did pick up 3 new ribbed front tires for $35 total.....so that was worth my time . Plus George gave me a lesson on tires and different styles. I wanted to know the differences between tru powers, super lugs, etc.... Good stuff. Thanks George!
Josh Deaven has a nice selection of tires there if you are looking for a set. Would be a good time to buy them and save the freight money.

That's george's nice d4-10 in my pictures.

We've been getting some scattered rain here. As we're about 4 hours straight west, you should get it out there by morning if at all.

Think I got unloading figured out with the help of some blocks. I have a boat winch loaded, but may not need to use it if there's plenty of able bodies around.
I'm going to feel bad that I don't remember anybody's names. I can only remember the usernames around here... even though everyone puts their name in the tag lines.

Hoping to be there about 9:00 am. better get to bed.
