Vevay only has 35 acres which will only last 2 hours or so.

Only 2hours! 35 acres? How many tractors will be there? One for each furrow? WOW!
Some day I need to go to one of these, best I can muster up is 1 maybe 2 acres ,and in NewEngland its HARD going, except in the valleys.

The event in Vevay is for large and small tractors, probably mostly large tractors, It doesn't take them long to get the job done.

Yes, mostly antique full size tractors. 2hrs (1 way)driving for 2hrs plowing.....I'd rather go to New Harmony, drive 3+hrs (1 way) and plow most of the day!

I sure hope it settles enough. Been getting everything ready & this is my last chance to plow this year. Supposed to have some wind out there, & some sun too. Maybe it'll dry enough.

Crossing my fingers, saying a prayer, and carrying my rabbit's foot! What else can I do?
If the rain date was on Nov 12th, then I could make it, but Chuck from Mt Vernon couldn't!

Plow day is cancelled because of wet fields. Going to try Nov 12.
