I have a 1972 Case S/N 9656557

There is a 48" mower deck and 38" Snowcaster for sale locally for $75 locally and I was wondering if there is any way to tell if they are the correct ones? Will they all fit my tractor or is there only certain ones? I think I'm going to pick them up either way, $75 seems like a pretty fair price.

Thanks.

mac, Someone smarter then me will answer your fit question. I agree that 75.00 for both is a good deal, if they don't fit you can use then as trade material for something that will.

Talk with Brian H or ...does your tractor have the 'snap fast' pins on the front?

According to Case the mower deck best suited for a 220 is the J40 38" and the J44 44". The J80 38" is the only snowcaster Case recommends using on a 220.

Yeah the 48" is going to be way to big for it. I will make the snow caster work. It's only 38"
