I don't think steering wheels are avail any more,I tried to get a new one for my dads 14 but they are no longer avail. As far as the grommet check with your nearest massey dealer,or check on agcopartsbook.com.You might be able to get straight from agco.

Pretty sure these are NLA. There may be something close out there, but not that I've seen.

Grometts and wheels are NLA, from what I've found. There may be an alternative for them, and if you find them, please post your findings.
Otherwise, doner machines and ebay, are pretty much your options.

Unlikely you will get the same wheel but most machine that has the Ross column will have the same splines on the wheel. John Deere, Cub Cadet, etc

Was the grommet factory? I haven't been able to find any part number for MF10s or 12s.

George.

I looked back in my notes as i remembered a new part # for the steering grommet (180575m1) as it seems the same as that of some of the bigger TO model massey tractors . Here is an ebay ad that should work? MASSEY FERGUSON TO35 40 50 65 STEERING COLUMN GROMMET | eBay

I was 21 when my 1968 MF-10 was in the showroom, now it is in my garage needing some work.
Was in the employ of my government that year.
I have a cousin on moms side that retired from Tecumseh Products, home of my HH100.
Worked on a lot of old cars, gave it up before I retire. Just couldn't keep my hands off this Massey though.
Need something to tinker with. Spent many years chasing NOS parts for drag race cars and or personal toys.
Mostly early 60's and 70's.

Thought for sure someone would have had to replace a steering wheel. Knew that nothing new would be available, just
trying to short cut a lot of looking. Where I am retiring to, won't be many places to look, going to the boonies.
Don't know any of the terminology used with the lawn tractors.
Not familiar with a Ross column. Could someone enlighten please.

Just like engines, there were a limited number of manufacturers for all the non brand specific parts. Several brands used the same column. Differences between brands ( keyway vs. Splined for instance ) will take someone with more experience than I have, but you may well find some other units with similar steering wheels. From reading other people experiences, unless the wheel is damaged, it may be best to leave it alone as there have been people who have really damaged wheel, shaft, etc trying to get them apart. If you do a little looking around here there are some previous posts regarding steering wheel removal and it's problems. Your tractor was made by AMF for Massey, by the way.

Some guys have had luck using a bearing separator for under the wheel and using a pulled on top. Just don't flare the end of the shaft, you'll really be in trouble then.
