Hello everybody. I just got a G4200H with a 2 cyl diesel. It has 920 hours on it. This is my first diesel. I have always operated my gas mowers at full throttle. Should I do the same with the diesel?

I agree With Daniel. I always run my G4200 at full throttle when mowing. The small diesels were designed for that and the decks sized for full throttle operation.
Enjoy your mower. They are great machines just remember to keep the radiator and it's screen clean after each mowing.

Thanks everybody. I tried full throttle and it seemed happy! I've enjoyed this site - especially looking at the pictures. I think I found a new hobby

Hello Olcowhand and Cvans (or anybody else that has a G3200-G6200)... i'm tyring to fix up the lights on my G4200. the tractor was missing the bulbs and wires when I got it... I bought new bulbs, but it looks like i'm missing some pieces still. Is there any way you could post a picture of the back side of your headlights so I can see how the bulbs are mounted?

I'd appreciate it a bunch!

Naw, this thread is fine. I'll try & post a pic or 2 tomorrow if I remember to. Been sick the last few days & itching to return to normal.

If Daniel is unable to get photos I can do it. Do you need a wiring schematic?

Thanks Chris. I have the wiring schematic from the owners manual. Do you have a better one? I am having some issues with the wiring... Some of the wires are bad and I'm trying to replace them as I find them. I wanted to order new harnesses online but it turned out to be much more $ than what I thought..

No, Same schematic. If you have any questions about where the wiring goes just ask and one of us will look for your. I wish I would have known this was coming as I just removed the harness from a G3200 and I would have been a little more careful with it.

I will get the pics later today, but this will likely solve this for you, as GTT has the parts manual for your tractor here: G4200H Parts Manual - Manuals - Garden Tractor Talk - Forums
