Man I love the looks of those Colt tractors. The Case tractors are nice as well. I've never seen a Colt up here but I have seen some Case 200 and 400 series for sale.

Brian, my buddy just bought a Colt 2510, this thing came from Kansas and hasn't run in we don't know how long,...watch how easy this starts...this is him fueling it up and...well watch the proof is in the pudding...

he has quite a collection, i like the colors on the 2712. im not a case expert, or any expert for that matter... but are the black ones that say ''demonstrator'' factory colors?

The answer to this is yes. The demonstrator is a pretty 'rare bird', in the arena of Colt - Case - Ingersoll (Demonstrators that I know of were Case only)...the idea is they had some minor imperfection at the factory, and they didn't want to release a 'second' rate product to the buyer, so what they did was to put the demonstrator labels on them and let potential buyers test them at the dealership...thus 'demonstrator' and why there aren't a ton of these out there... Most collectors feel fortunate and lucky to get one...and Steve has 5.

interesting, what imperfections would make it go to the demonstrator line? is that one with the bench seat and bed factory?
