If it has the creeper, it's probably worth it, especially if in good condition. Be better if he'd move south a little on the price...

Now I am about to get schooled, but didn't 61's all have 4 digit serial numbers?

No , their SN numbers went from 501 to 23674.

Nice find on a pretty straight original! You have a bonus as to having a straight hood, the front hood ornament and the IH emblem. Most of the hoods I have seen have been caved in in front from being the first part to contact a tree! It should make a nice project for you. Congrats!
