Brought home a 61 original yesterday

I finally got a Cub in the stable:D, picked it up yesterday for $125 from what I have found on the net it is a 1961 original with numbers 11161 which makes it born in june of 61. I have a full resto planned but gotta wait till spring comes :wallbanging:.

Wow that's a nice,clean,unmolested O.

Great Price for an awesome tractor.The timed decks are quiet and cut really well.Alot of fun to mow with.

Is that an old cast iron seat?

Thanks for all the comments, going to look at another cub tomorrow believe a 70 or 100 model not sure but has creeper gear and a rebuilt engine

That seat is not original.It would have had a tin seat when new.

Nice find on the"O". Bonus the hood bird and the grill emblem are still intact. Sounds like you have been bitten by the cub bug.

Looked at a 106 today, ran and drove good but no deck or attachments $150 not sure if i am gonna bite on this one or not ?
