One day at a time George. If you relapse you might try supplementing with a pipe / cigar occasionally which will allow you to get a little nicotine and is much better for you provided that you don't inhale. Also fixes the fidgets when you just "need" to do something.

The Mrs. and I quit 2 years ago. We both smoked for 25 plus years - I was close to 3 packs a day. Like you we now walk and ride bikes. Keep it up. The difference in breathing is night and day.

It is doable George. As you an every other X will admit it is tough to do. My ability to quit was greatly influenced by my doctor. He told me to quit or loose my hands. Now that's what I call incentive. Any hang I'm there it does get easier. As others have said it is definitely one of the best decisions you will ever make.

Don't sweat it George, quitting is easy. I do it all the time.
Now, if I could just quit buying tractors!

Thanks for all of the support. It is now day 7 and still haven't touched one. Logged 20 mile on the bikes this week so far and planning on getting about 50 more in this weekend. We just don't have the time till we get home from work and cook dinner to really get any riding in.

I had some urges last night when in the garage trying to get the one dehumidifier working and getting aggravated. I walked away from it and all was good.
