in less then 12 hr.s after posting pictures the seller had this David Bradley spud plow and disk harrow sold to me, perfet timing for me and him and we both walked away happy,
the spud has a red tag 57550 and was barely used, the harrow was re-painted and had the 575103,

on the adjustable foot plow, the red paint under the blue dont mean it been repainted. It was common practice for DB to redip parts already painted in the factory. Talk with Uncle Kevy about this. We have found several items that way, including a whole model 135 tractor, that was factory red and never another color.

i know, that's also why i whent after it, the spud plow has the early red tag, bottem of the foot still has a lot of paint with little wear, the harrow was re-painted, you can see the overspray on it's black tag

oh man, what a nice day today was, contacting the buyer, spent the morning mowing, buying the plow/harrow, then mowing some more on a beutifull 75 degrees saterday with no bugs, finally a good day after all that rain, with some new stuff, i could not ask for a better day,
so...my 56 collection just got bigger, i need more room,

Nice implements! Glad you got them.

I am starting on the D B 3 pt plow. Found red and blue paint. Haven't figured out which was on top.

[QUOTE=Lauber1; the red paint under the blue dont mean it been repainted. It was common practice for DB to redip parts already painted in the factory.

blue is always on top, red is first, and an example as my picture of the spud plow shows the red peeking thrue the blue, it has the early red tag and started life red, it was re-dipped the lator assesorys was dipped blue with the lator black tag as my harrow shows, on my super 3 tractor the reverse pully, rod and clutch lever started out red, it was re-painted bronze for that tractor,
