John Deere GT262 Fuel problem

no fuel going to carbuetor, carb inlet acts clogged. fuel pump pumps fuel out the hose on it's outlet side. what is wire and the needle like valve on the bottom of the carb?

Welcome to GTTalk. I am not familiar with a GT262. Have you checked the manuals section to see if there are any for your tractor. You may have to remove it and disassemble/clean it.

thats an 'anti diesel' valve. you should have 12v power going to it when the key is on. if you do and it doesn't open, it's toast. i usualy just snip the end off the needle and don't worry about it.
