The rear wheels are back on and I finished up the mounting perch for the front axle.

Looking at it from the side, I decided that it would look better if the frame was a little shorter.

So I unbolted the front frame rails and removed them.

I'm cutting about 6 inches of the ends of frame rails.

Originally these rails were fastened on with two bolts in each side.
The problem with bolts is that there is always the chance that they could loosen up.
The rear of the outside are still bolted in place and the bolts are tightened with an impact wrench.
The front end of the inside rails are then welded to the outside rails so I don't have to worry about the frame rails ever separating.
