I have an MF10 that my grandfather gave me. It was working great up until the engine started to rev out of control. I've done some research and downloaded the service manual (thanks to whoever copied that). My question is, are there parts available to fix it? It's in great shape considering the age.

Parts are getting harder to find. Be certain what you need before you go get parts. The arm may have loosened up on the shaft, allowing the carb to open up. More than likely, the flyweights are rattling around in the bottom of the oil pan. If that's the case, better not run it, or at least don't drive it. I personally would do an oil drain and flush to see if anything comes out. Not a guaranteed troubleshooting technique, but it may answer a question. BTW, teardown on these aren't bad, just watch the timing and be prepared to make a gasket. Also, have lots of cleaner on hand and do it where you're allowed to make a mess.
