I won this on ebay last weekend and it came in today! :bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce:

I never seen anything like this before has anyone seen one of these before/ know anything about it?

I payed a little more than I wanted to, but I figured I'd never see one for sale again so I figured I'd better get it

i saw one yrs ago for a Wheel horse tractor, but i dont think its a common easy to find item. Looks almost perfect, thanks for sharing it.

I have one question, how come you didn't list this in the Ebay finds before the auction ended? Lots of these other guys needed reminded and would have helped you part with more of your money.

Just kidding, nice find! Bet you won't be using that one much, unless you are trying to measure how addicted to Bolens you are.

Congrats on the buy Brian! I used to have a Zippo tape measure years ago. I don't remember what the advertisement was on the case though. It may still be floating around here somewhere.

I think dad had a zippo tape measure years ago. It was something they did to get their product into other markets. The best part is the engraving. It was a corporate thing that was cool in the day and even cooler now, because it was probably a sales gimmick or similar that now survives as a really cool item.

I'd say whatever you paid for it, the next one just like it will go for plenty more. Not many around.
