Well I started driving the tractor around to heat the oil up before I drain it and pull the engine. It seems like I may also have a hydrostatic issue. It was working fine and then stopped moving but was still growling. I played with the engage nuetral park lever and then it seemed to work again. It almost seemed like it was starting to jump out of gear or something. I am wondering if there is a linkage issue or if I am going to have to rip into the hydrostat (I know nothing about them so am hoping it is something I can figure out). Any thoughts?

:confuse:

Have you checked to see if the tranny is full of fluid? But you could be on to somthing with the adgustments? not sure if yours has a peddle, but the linkage on mine should be set so that when the peddle is in nuetral there is no forward, or rearward creap. hope this helps a little :)

sounds like it might be a headache of a machine. send it to my house and ill take it for free =). but really make sure you have fluid in there, it might be due for hydro fluid change.

Yeah the fluid is full and looks REALLY clean! Are there any bulletins, instructions etc. on how to properly set up the linkage as far as adjustment etc.?
