That looks great Brian!. How long did it take to completely go through it? Are those fiberglass body panels?
Honestly it was one of the easiest restorations I have done so far... Not much to them, basically you split the tractor into 2 halves , remove the brackets,guards, ect amd you got it apart.

the hood and fenders on the EKs are aluminum

Basically all the yellow parts are Aluminum (Excluding the cast iron steering column)

Hard to say without knowing the model and seeing a picture of it....
It's the same as yours EK-10 Estate the hood is cast aluminum and one of the hinges is broke It's all there except the engine, well he wants $150 and I'm sure just the different factor is worth $150 I was just wondering what you thought hats all.

I would grab it for $150, If the aluminum hood is in good shape and the engine in not seized its a pretty good deal. Are any attachments with it?
I think he said the engine is missing (as in, not there) ???

I guess without an engine I wouldnt pay more than $100 for it.....

I got talking with the man and as it turns out he is into 70s dirt bike and i just happen to have two someone gave me a long time ago and were sitting around taking up space so i got to trade the bikes for the tractor. So i think i did good.

Ok guys I'm really going to need some help with this one, I can't make heads or tails of that pulley system, A picture of a complete one and i need to make a pulley for the engine at work so what i need is the size of the pulleys.

Did you get the PTO shaft with the deck?
I will get some pics up ASAP of the pulley system. I know this setup looked quite intimidating when I first got my EK's but they actually are actually quite simple.
