The Decals are finally in and I was able to assemble them today

It took me about 2 hours to set the decals on.... Since I'm a purist I try and get the decals in their exact original position. I usually measure and make some small pencil lines on the paint to line them up.

If anyone ever restores an EK be very careful putting on the wrap around "EK10" decal. That thing was a PITA to put on with all those curves LOL.

Here's a few Before and After pics

Fantastic job Brian. You did a wonderful restore. Your positioning of the decals is somewhat like George working on my Bolens sign. You both have a strong passion for detail.
Good job.

Fantastic job. I was offered one of these in pieces with no engine but included a snow thrower about 8 years ago. At the time I was just wanting a blower to mount on the 800 ( with a little fab work). He wanted 100 for everything but would take 50 for just the blower. At the time I was young(er) and foulish and did not really understand the beauty in any of these rigs. I guess you know the option I took. I still kick my ^^$. I am pretty sure he still has it though. I wonder if he would still consider that other 50? Just may pay him a visit soon!!
