Hey yall my name is scrapiron and i have a old bearcat two wheelgarden tractor that i got from my dad back in the 70's . He purched it when i was very small from a old timer in tenn. My dad used it for serverl years til he could afford a reg tractor.well the bearcat was parked in the barn and forgot about. for about twenty years later.I was cleaning out the corner to put newer junk there and i found it...i check the motor and it was not locked up.(i love these old motors), i carred it home did some tinkering and had it running in about a week. eversence i have been looking for information on it a manuel pictures, ect. and i have found very few. cam anybody here help me.... thanks

As for info, there are some great 2 wheel guys here, hopefully they can shed some light on what you have.

woho, a man with an Ellinwood Bearcat. I'll have to look though the manual binder and see if i have one for that. You 4 wheel guys better watch out, this is like 3 or 4 new 2 wheel owners in the last few weeks!!!

Ok i couldnt find a manual right off but i did find this:

It was the first tractor tested after WWII, at the Nebraska tractor test site. It and its sister the Tiger Cat were both put to the track, an honor that few garden tractor makers ever bothered with.

The more the merrier, I would love to see a ton of two wheel guys here. I like them just as much as the four wheels even though I don't own one yet. I am sure I will before long though.
