Should be the same voltage regulator used on quite a few brands of garden tractors. I am not going to say that is 100% right but hearing Delco Remy makes me think that. It probably looks like a black box? You can check with one of the site sponsors that are listed on the right of the forum index, you can also find them on ebay.

If the site sponsors don't have one, you could probably take it off and go to the NAPA. They may need the model number on the engine and starter-gen too.

Bob, site sponsor "Bob's L&G Tractors" also carries new parts. I've bought new parts from him myself.

Hey Peeps! Sorry have not been back.
Got Regulator just up the road in New Hudson, Mi. @ Hass Auto Parts.
I beleive it was about $56.00. Said Reg. was a common one he keeps in stock.
Next problem arose, soverign would not turn over at all. Had battery tested, it was o.k.
Took Gen. to Hass had it rebuilt(about $156.00 with tax). one day service.
Tractor now starts allo electrics work. go shape

Tanxs to all!!!!!
