thats a pretty nice machine, you should be happy with it if you dont plan on doing anything too extreme.

Does this take the same seat cover as the 1050 or is it a larger seat?

Yeah the tractor came with the mower deck, rototiller, tire chains, wheel weights (two sets), and an engine that kills mosquitos quite well (getting it rebuilt first thing!).

I am picking up an NOS plow I found an hour away tomorrow (former Bolens Dealer). I am still looking for a snowblower if anyone knows of one.

What would be "too extreme" for this machine? You kind of scared me when you said that :confuse:

Don't be scared. That 1250 is a tough tractor, and will drive the implements that you have, as well as the snowcaster you want. Some thought that the 1250 was a tad underpowered with the S12D Wisconsin, but they do have a lot of torque. You picked up a nice original condition tractor. Most of them were not as well cared for as that one seems to have been.

If you want a little more power, the S14D Wisconsin will bolt right in, and will look pretty much the same as the 12 HP engine in it now. Both engines are tough to come by though, so you may only be able to rebuild what you have.

my 20 horse some days i almost thin could use a turbo charger adapted or bored out larger. i mean i towed a dodge ram 1/4 of a mile up hills with no issues but i like having more power then the next guy. like a 12 horse can run a tiller but no through really hard pack dirt like most tractors cant to begin with. i had a 14 horse tecumseh i never had a problem with, it just couldnt pull vehicles around good enough to suit me. you should be happy with it, because it is a bolens which adds points to begin with =)

also i should add, atleast with the 12 horse your going to have some kind of fuel economy, i must have a leak in my ht20's tank it goes through 3 gallons of gas in little time. it seems like even 4 gallons doesnt do much good. lord knows if my boss ever needs me to do grading at work he'll figure that out fast lol.
