Went to Rantoul, Il. Half Century of Progress show yesterday (8-25). LAGC had a
display of about 12 nicely restored garden tractors. There were a lot of re-powered
large farm tractors there. There was a 86xx JD with 2 large 6 cyl. Cummins side-by-side. 3 5020 JD with 318HP Detroit. IH with V6 238 HP Detroit. Most of the Detroit
re-powers were done by Kinze Manufacturing. Kinze's ace in the hole was Double-
Trouble. It is a monster articulated with 2 318hp Detroits driving 2 JD 5020 drive-trains. It plowed with a 12 bottom plow. The show still is on 8-26-27-28.
Admission is $10. U can rent a golf cart.

I had a new camera (digital) that I apparently didn't know how to operate because my pictures didn't turn out. A side note to Daniel. I saw a IH H painted
with the Viper red. That is some bright red! I know I will be using that for my JBI. The guy who owned the H didn't know that Bush Hog built garden
tractors. Of course I didn't either until I joined this forum.

Glad you were able to make it to the show Big John. That is pretty cool you can rent golf carts at the show. I have been saying this since our last show that I will have a golf cart next year.

Sorry the pics didn't turn out, I am sure we will get to see some posted here in the next couple of days.
