I missed this thread. We came through find with no damage at all, just loss of power for eleven and a half hours. We didn't even get any rain with it,just wind.

Our juice came back on early yesterday morning. Aside from having to pitch some spoiled food and cleaning up one snapped tree we fared pretty well.

DC, sorry to hear about the food, but that happens when the electric goes off. When the Ice Storm hit Tulsa a while back, we were without power for a week. Thankfully, I had a small gas heater we hooked up and kept the chill off and warmed food on it to eat.

Watching the reports of flooding in eastern Pa and parts of NY this morning. Looks awful. Harrisburg got 12" last night.

Praying everyone out that way in the affected areas stays safe.

Well, it's Friday and the rain seems to be finally stopping! Yoo-Hoo. I tried to go to work yesterday morning, and found out that it took me an hour and fourty five minutes to go three miles. Everyway I went, I ran into a road closure or flooding water. Today when I went to work, I found that most of the roads that I tried yesterday, are buckled, or just aint there anymore. WOW, did we get hit hard!

I do ask for one prayer request, if I may. Wednesday evening one of my fellow tractor collector friends was helping out a neighbor with high water, and while trying to return home, he was swept away by the high water. As of today, we still haven't found him. Even though it doesn't appear that the end results will be positive, we are still trying to hold onto hope, and praying that he will either phone someone soon, or rescuers will find him alive. He "is" a good man, and "is" always willing to help give a hand whenever he "can". His name is Mark, so if you have a chance, or wouldn't mind saying a prayer, please lift him and his family up tonight in thoughts before you go to bed tonight. He is missed bad, and his friends and family really need to hear from him soon!

Thanks everyone. It would really mean a lot!
Troy

Prayer has already been said for your friend Troy. Hopefully Mark will be found safe and sound. We had damage here, but everybody is fine. The small things can be fixed or replaced, a loved one can't.

Just an update on my friend Mark. His body was found yesterday (Sunday) around 6:30 pm. At least now his Wife, family, and friends will have closure. Thank you all for the prayers and kind words, it really was much appreciated! It's nice to know that my fellow GTtalk brothers are there for each other in a time of need.

Got a really strong storm right now. They're calling for 2" of rain in the next hour. Last count was 772 lightning strikes per second on this storm. The scanner is going nut with reports of a lightning strike to a natural gas well and now it's on fire.

Heading E.S.E at about 30 mph. Stay safe everyone.
