The '68 110 I need to pick up has a green grill and springs.  That has to be a later build thing.

This vid is after getting the timing and carb adjusted.  It smells a bit rich at shutdown but does not backfire or diesel.  I am going to go with it as it for now.

Since it is finally running properly (a bit rich for now) I adjusted the creep out of the hydro.  Definitely reassembled it out of adjustment.  Now I have a noisy rear diff when the hydro is engaged in forward and reverse.  Checked fluid (using Type F) and added 1/2 quart.  Ran it around the yard several times and still get the same behavior.  I hope to change the filter tomorrow and will see if that helps.

That fender is tricky to reinstall, it scrapped some paint off my console and scratch it, now I have to fine sand it a little and shoot some paint on it

Another thought about the 120 - All of those mods that I made to steering (including rebuilding the steering box, adding the thrust bearing to it, new center link, and those cool tie rod ends make it very easy to steer.  I ran it around the yard steering with a light left-hand grip on the steering wheel and it was so easy to control. We don't need not stinkin' power steering.  :smilewink:

Definitely time and money well spent.  :rocker2:

:thank_you:

I wanted a 140 too but found the 120 and the price was right.  After using the 120 with the k301 and my 314 with the k321 I would pick a k301 any day.  Much smoother and plenty of power for the stuff I do.

Looking really good. I'll second the caution about installing the fender deck. A second person to help will prevent scratching things up. The motor mounts are often shot on 314's. If that's the case the engine will shake the tin right off the tractor. The idle on a 314 is supposed to be set to 22-2300rpms. I know that sound high but without the balance gears a more normal idle speed results in a lot of vibration.

Well At least without them balance Gear's you don't have to worry about that engine going KaBoom!
