Friday update: Ran over to the JD dealer in Iowa to pick up parts. All my parts were in EXCEPT AM31924. This is a majority of the parts used to rebuild the column. :wallbanging: :wallbanging: :wallbanging: This kit is NOT in an JD warehouse so the dealer ordered it in from another dealer. It should be here next week. I guess my parts from Kirk will probably show up at the same time. I so wanted to get the column rebuilt and reinstalled but I guess I will wait a bit longer. Can't do much more reassembly until that column is reinstalled. :mad2:

Hang in there... parts are "on the way". Look on the bright side, you have that much more time to buff the aluminum ! Posted Image

Most of those parts are for the steering column/box rebuild so not many people will see them once in place. I will get pics as I go.

Good looking 120! Looks like it should be a hard working tractor. I just got in the kirk pointsaver and bosch coil,I've not had time to install them.I'm very impressed with the looks of the pointsaver,it really has a quality look and feel to it.

Guys, be sure to post pics as you are installing these things. Some of us haven't had the opportunity to do this!

Gladly... when they finally arrive. We have some beautiful weather right now and I don't have the necessary parts to complete the assembly. :wallbanging: :wallbanging:

I think there is a bit of Tim Allen in me. If there is room for improvement then I will take advantage of it. :smilewink:

Got word from Deere that the pieces for the column will be here next week. :wallbanging:

The JD dealer called yesterday while I was out of town. The steering rebuild parts are in! I am going to pick them up tomorrow morning and hope to get some significant work done this weekend. Woohoo!!!

Parts are in my possession! It seems that the parts shipped directly from Deere and not another dealer's inventory. It seems the dealer can get the parts directly from the warehouse but it will take time. Let more assembly begin!
