Trav, what's the condition of your serial plate? Would you post a picture of it?

Serial plate is pretty good. Pics for ya as it sits. I plan on a good polish with a light compound and wax before I re-install it.

A bit more work this morning. Removed decals, adhesive, and sanded with 400 grit paper to prep for fiberglass work.

Looks much better than the RF 110 hood!

Between a funeral tomorrow morning, crazy heat, and a day away with the Mrs. I won't get any more done on the 120 until the weekend. I hope to have the frame primed and painted so some reassembly can start. Still need to order steering parts and get paint.

Went right to work this morning and have accomplished quite a bit. Hit a few more parts with the wire wheel, primed and painted them. Those things include clutch/brake pedal, brake linkage and related parts, air cleaner cover, and back plate. Also got the right side of the frame ready for primer and working on the left side now. It is good to see some end to the prep and paint work. Getting excited about putting it back together.

One more thought - Looking into alternate parts to rebuild the steering assembly to make it a bit easier.
... This will work on the column in the 120!
http://www.kirkengin...ingTieRodEndKit - gives me some ideas if his parts will not work

He also has a few more parts that will end up on the 120.

Rough the direct area to be glassed real good by hand with 40 grit. You want it to really get some "tooth" to bond well.

Spent about 8 hours today working on the 120. On top of the work this morning I disassembled, prep-ed, and painted the engine. I used JD Blitz Black on the cooling tins as well as a few other things, and JD Muffler Black on the rest of the engine. It is ready to drop in and reassemble!!!! Once my phone cooperates I will get some pics up showing today's work.

Pedestal is ready for decals and reinstallation!

Even though I got quite a bit done yesterday, I am still getting impatient. I want to get the tires back on so it is movable. The current location of the frame on concrete blocks is less than convenient.
