Got a chance to buy a 1973 AMF 8hp riding mower.

What is the collectibility on it??? If someone is interested....maybe could make I trade???
I am into other mowers but this one is from the original owner who bought it new in 1973.

Whats it worth??

Thanks,

Wow, that thing is in nice shape.
I'm not sure about collectibility or value?
I don't remember seeing one before?

Yea.......I am considering it....but he is asking $375 If it was what I truly wanted it would be a no brainer.....but because it would just be "another old mower" for me......not sure I want to pay that much. I am leaning toward $200.....to low??

The AMF's are less common to find. That one is a lawn tractor but it is in great shape. His asking price actually isn't too bad.

I agree with George, the asking price is probably about right considering the condition.
You might be able to haggle a little, but $200 would definitely be a low ball offer.
